Market Stall Letting

The markets are managed by Cotswold Markets Ltd. on behalf of Cirencester Town Council. They are key economic and tourism features of our thriving market town. 

Cirencester's Charter Market is held in the Market Place. It is one of the oldest charter markets in the country and was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. The Charter Market is held every Monday from 10am to 4pm and every Friday from 9am to 3pm.  The Cirencester Farmers Market takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 9am to 2.30pm. We also host a number of themed and speciality markets.

The markets are managed by Cotswold Markets Ltd on behalf of the Town Council. There is currently some limited availability for both Charter and Farmers markets.

Complaints Procedure:

If you wish to make a formal complaint about the Council's decision to refuse an application for a stall, it should be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer and marked 'private and confidential'.

Receipt of your complaint will be acknowledged, in writing, within seven working days.
