CCDA’s vision is to encourage and foster the talents of your child, whilst developing their confidence and skills, in dance and performance.

CCDA started in 1997 with 10 enthusiastic performers;  with a strong emphasis on traditional Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre technique. Currently boys and girls aged 2 ½ to adult enjoy classes  in Tap, Jazz,Street Dance, Freestyle, limbering & strengthening, Musical theatre (acting, Singing & dance), Contemporary Dance and Cheerleading.Classes can be for fun and fitness as well as the opportunity to take grading examinations in the ISTD syllabus.

We provide an enjoyable and broad-ranging introduction to the performing arts, as well as the specialist training required when pursuing a career in the disciplines.

CCDA has 10 specialist teachers, all are CRB checked and hold Enhanced Disclosure status.
There is an emphasis on fun and performance, all students have the opportunity to perform twice a year at the annual awards celebration and the annual summer show which is held in a professional theatre, CCDA also runs a  performance group who regularly perform at local events such as pantomimes, fetes, garden parties, and music festivals such as the Phoenix festival. CCDA has also performed in the West End at Her Majesty’s Theatre and at the Royal International Air Tattoo Fairford.

CCDA runs  competition groups who compete at festivals throughout the country.
New for this year is the CCDA Phoenix Flames  -these are a competitive cheerleading group.
