Cirencester Lions

Cirencester Lions is part of an international movement that aims to help local communities.

We started back up in October, we had just two members and have slowly increased our membership. So far we have helped in a care home on Christmas Eve where we spread the Christmas spirit with help from various schools and groups. We have done ‘Clean for the Queen’ which was a very successful event. Charities write to us and ask for help and we do our best to give them as much help as they need.  Cirencester Lions are all about helping charities but we also want to help the community.

We aim to enjoy ourselves too, we have a social every month, and this could be meal, skittles, darts and much more. Cirencester Lions is not just an organisation but it forms friendships that will last forever.

Our meetings are held at 7:30pm on the third Wednesday of each month, at the Talbot Inn, Victoria Road, Cirencester and we always welcome new members. There are no age restrictions, and members are both men and women. We welcome anyone who has a little time to spare to put something back into our community.
