Cirencester Eating Disorders Self Help Group
The Cirencester Eating Disorders Self Help Group for sufferers and carers (parents/partners/siblings) was set up by 'mum' Pat Ayres in 2003 having had a daughter suffer with this devastating illness.
The aim of the group is to offer a confidential, accessible, approachable and understanding forum for help, support and information and to provide discussion and sharing experiences in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The objectives/purpose of the group is to help take away isolation from sufferers and carers - To offer understanding and empathy to those who are disturbed and troubled by eating disorders - To provide a stepping stone to a way of coping and even seeking professional help if not already receiving it.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month in St. Peters Lounge, St Peters Court. St Peters Road, Cirencester from 7.30pm and is FREE. No need to book just drop in. A warm welcome will be found.
