Cirencester Operatic Society has been running for over 50 years with many long standing members and supporters in the town as well as a good reputation for putting on excellent shows at our home, The Barn Theatre.
The society puts on two shows a year and the occasional concert. Our Autumn show is always a Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta. Our Spring show can be, well, pretty much anything. Our catalogue of past May shows includes South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Calamity Jane, Anything Goes, Oliver, Oklahoma etc.
The Society works hard to be the best it can be whilst remembering that this is also, to the people that come out each week to rehearse, a hobby. The Society is a friendly sociable group.
After most rehearsals you will find members frequenting The Vaults next door being looked after by our friendly landlord, Andy. We also have various social functions throughout the year.
If you wish to know more about the society, just come along, or contact Rachel on 01285 648230 or on email address email@example.com. You can also look at our website www.cirencesteroperaticsociety.co.uk.
