Cirencester Dolphin Sub-Aqua Club
Cirencester Dolphin Sub-Aqua club is an active club offering SCUBA Diving and Snorkelling for the people of Cirencester, Swindon, Gloucestershire, North Wiltshire and the surrounding towns and villages.
We are a branch of The British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) and follow its constitution and policies. We offer diver training to members to learn Scuba or snorkelling. Established in 1979, we meet every Friday evening at the Cotswold Leisure Centre and currently have 50 plus members.
We are a friendly BSAC branch, offering both SCUBA and Snorkel membership. We have an active social side and a good mix of members - from eight year old snorkellers to sixtysomething divers - all with a broad range of interests including photography, marine archaeology, conservation, technical and re-breather diving.
We organise and enjoy a wide range of diving at both inland and coastal sites from the shore and our own boat regularly diving wrecks and reefs. Whether you want to learn to dive or improve your diving skills we can help, offering a structured progressive training program, delivered by qualified instructors and catering for complete beginners to experienced divers.
If you would like to join us we do offer "taster" sessions and membership is open to anyone, but minimum age limits do apply Snorkelling 8 years and Scuba 14 years. Qualified divers from other agencies are also very welcome.
