St. Michael's Park

This beautiful park is located in the town centre, a few minutes walk from the Market Place and has tennis courts, children's play area, mini golf, boules, table tennis, cricket nets, and crazy golf.

The Park was developed as the premier play park for the people of Cirencester in 1984 and has a variety of formal and informal sports and recreation facilities and large open lawns.  Whatever your interests, you are likely to find something to enjoy at St. Michael’s Park.  The playgrounds will keep the younger children occupied for hours, while older visitors can try their hand at everything from tennis or croquet to cricket in the nets and boules.

Green Flag.jpg

St. Michael’s Park has been recognised by the Green Flag Award Scheme as one of the very best in Britain.  This international award, now into its third decade, is a sign to the public that the space boasts the highest possible environmental standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent visitor facilities.

A variety of events are held at the park throughout the year such as Love Parks Week and outdoor cinema. No day out would be complete without refreshments, and the café has a range of delicious drinks, snacks and ice cream. If you prefer to do your own catering, you can rent a BBQ and have your own get together with friends and family. Come and see for yourself what makes St. Michael’s Park the first choice for play and recreation.
