Cirencester Charter Market is held in the market place on Monday and Friday each week. It is one of the oldest charter markets in the country and was mentioned in the Domesday Book on 1086.

The market is run by Cirencester Town Council which continues to actively promote it as a key feature of our market town. Produce varies but includes flowers and plants , organic  vintage cheese, fish, olives, fruit and vegetables, basket ware, gifts, clothing, antiques, pet food and much more.
