Come along and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of free live music in Cirencester’s Abbey Grounds this summer. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and a picnic in the park! 

Founded in 1919 the Cirencester Band has been entertaining locals and visitors for over 90 years. As a non-contesting brass band, Cirencester Band regularly plays at concerts, fetes, etc. both in Cirencester and in the surrounding towns and villages. The Band gives it's 'Christmas Cracker' concert in Cirencester Parish Church each December, raising money for a different local charity each year. The Band also takes part in the programme of Sunday afternoon concerts on the Bandstand in the Abbey Grounds.

The Band rehearses in Bingham House, Dyer Street, Cirencester on Friday evenings; the training band from 7:00pm to 8:00pm and the main band from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. New players are always welcome and, subject to availability, the Band can provide an instrument and uniform to players willing to make a regular commitment.
