Ian Mackintosh is a retired history teacher and founder member of Stroud Preservation Trust and Stroud Textile Trust. Ian will be givng a hands-on introduction to the history of the cloth industry in the Stroud valleys over several centuries and its many links to Cirencester. (Talk will be approx. 70 minutes).
