LA BOHEME by Puccini. From the Met Opera 1982. This is a stunning, totally “real” but traditional production by Franco Zeffirelli.  There is a stellar cast of José Carreras (Rodolfo) Teresa Stratas (Mimi) and Renata Scotto (Musetta).

Bijou Opera is an opera film club that meets periodically to screen great opera performances (plus the occasional ballet and operetta). Membership is open to everyone. Subscriptions for 2019 are £12.00 for an individual and £18.00 for a couple (from 1 August, £6.00 single, £9.00 couple).
