Phoenix Gardeners would normally have a fund raising plant stall on the Farmers Market at Spring Bank holiday. For obvious reasons they are not able to have a stall this year.

However, many Phoenix Gardeners members and friends have been growing plants throughout the year which need to find good homes. Instead of the stall, there will be a ‘dispersed plant sale’ at various locations across the town 9.00 - 12.00 this Saturday, 23rd May. The locations are:-

• 22 Coxwell St - GL7 2BH

• 3 The Mead GL7 2BB

• 20 St Peters Road GL7 1RG

• 5 Cotswold Ave GL7 1XW

Phoenix Gardeners are asking for donations to be left in an ’honesty box’. Plants will be labelled with a suggested donation but any contribution would be gratefully received. Proceeds will go to Signpost, a local charity which works to prevent homelessness. Please bring your own bags and respect social distancing.
