Corinium Cycling Club

Corinium Cycling Club was founded in 1977. In that year on April 3rd some 30 riders took part in the first Club Run.

The Club has continued to grow and now offers both competitive and social cycling for all levels of ability by providing year round social and cycling events. Both racers and tourists travel all over the country and even abroad to take part in events ranging from 10 to 1000 miles.

Members have the opportunity to participate in long distance rides, social rides, time trials, road races, cyclo-cross, sportifs and social events. The Club has social rides on Sundays and Tuesdays throughout the year.

For the more competitive, there are long distance events and sportifs to be ridden within a given time. And for those who prefer the challenge of racing, there are the 10 mile Time Trials on Thursday evenings throughout the summer.

In the winter, on Thursday evenings, there is a fortnightly social programme on a variety of cycling related topics.
