Grant Funds - Supporting Local Initiatives
Cirencester Town Council are delighted to announce that our Finance and Audit Committee recently approved a wide range of grants from an allocation of £14,946.25, supporting social, environmental and economic well-being to Allsorts Gloucestershire (£830 multi-year grant over 4 years), Cotswold Counselling (£2,500 multi-year grant over 4years) We Grow You (£150), Living Memory Historical Association (£500 multi-year grant over 4 years) Hope for Tomorrow (£1,060), Hope Cirencester (£500 multi-year grant over 3 years), Scrubditch Care Farm (£1,500), Cirencester Signpost (£1,500), Corinium Talking News (£150), Cirencester Cricket Club (£200 multi-year grant over 4 years), The Door (£750), The Barn Project Orpheus (£2,500 multi-year grant over 2 years), The Churn (£500 multi-year grant over 4 years).
In addition, the Committee is recommending that the Council provide support to Citizens Advice Stroud and Cotswold District, New Brewery Arts and the Cirencester Opportunity Group, as well as providing support to Velo Events Ltd through our twinning and tourism budget in 2024-25 to establish a cycling event in Cirencester Park, as part of our friendship links with Bathurst, Australia.
