Cotswold District Council’s Car parking strategy is dated 2010 and was further updated in 2016 to recognise the need for increased parking, however since the creation of the strategy, many factors have influenced transport and parking behaviours, such as climate agendas, Coronavirus pandemic and the economy etc. yet the demand for parking remains.
Cotswold District Council are now in the process of reviewing their strategy to ensure it is making best use of Council assets and meeting the needs of customers, both now and in the future.
