Cirencester History Festival: A Phenomenal First Chapter

Wow, what an amazing inaugural festival. With 99% of tickets sold across the whole programme, credit to everyone involved who made it the success it was.

Over nine action-packed days, history came alive with an amazing line-up of events and speakers.

Total appreciation and respect to Jess Yarrow, the Festival Producer who said “What an amazing and exhausting 9 days. We’ve welcomed some huge names to Cirencester and offered a platform to many brilliant local people too. We’ve learned, we’ve congregated and we’ve celebrated our wonderful town – it’s been truly incredible.”

And thanks to the Cirencester Community Development Trust for driving this initiative forwards; and great news the Cirencester History Festival will return in autumn 2025.
