Volunteers Needed - Longfield Community Hospice

We’d like to ask for your help with one of Longfield Community Hospice’s largest – and greenest – fundraising campaigns.

Each January here at the hospice a dedicated team of volunteers spend three days driving around the local area collecting used, real Christmas trees which our hospice can then recycle, in return for a donation from each household. This year we will be aiming to raise over £90000 in January, but to do this we need volunteers.

The collection dates are set for 10th, 11th and 12th January 2026 with a mop up day on the 13th January.

If you are in a position and wish to volunteer to either drive vans and pick up trees or just help us out on any of the days behind the scenes then please let us know. (Include info on preferred day/days, whether you can provide your own van and how many people would be volunteering).
