Developments at Kingshill

Exciting progress is underway at Kingshill, where a newly approved under-7s play area is set to provide a dedicated space for younger children to explore, play, and develop in 2026. The project recently attracted several strong tenders, making the decision a challenging one for both the Play Spaces Advisory Group and the Land and Property Committee. With the preferred contractor now selected, the next step is to finalise the contract and agree a delivery timeline. The Play Spaces Advisory Group has played a key role throughout the process, helping to shape a space that reflects the needs of the community and supports inclusive, age-appropriate play.
