2025 Christmas Windows Competition
Cirencester Town Council is encouraging all businesses in the town centre to dress their shop windows again this year and help make Cirencester look its festive best.
The town’s Christmas window displays will be appraised by a panel of judges who will assess the originality, festivity, product display and overall visual impact of the windows. This year’s judges include Cllr Sarah Orr, Mayor of Cirencester, Kim Tucker of KT Family Solicitors, specialists in family law and Sponsor of this year’s Snowman Trail, and visual merchandising specialist and branding consultant Ellie Pounds, from Brand Blossom.
This year, members of the public are also being asked to share photos of their favourite windows on social media by using the hashtag #CirenChristmasWindows.
The winner will receive a certificate and have their name inscribed on the Peter Stringfellow Memorial Trophy, joining previous winners French Grey, The Churn Project and Cirencester Antiques Centre.
Businesses do not have to sign up; any festive window display will be entered automatically. Participants will also have access to an exclusive-rate Rapid Retail Review session from Ellie of Brand Blossom — a professional visual merchandising service valued at over £180 — offering expert guidance to help businesses elevate their displays and maximise key trading opportunities, either with a last-minute Christmas boost or a fresh start in the New Year.
Judging will start soon, and the winner will be announced on Tuesday 16th December.
