Green Spaces Strategy Update

Further to the stakeholder event held in November 2024 we hoped to publish a draft green spaces strategy by the end of March 2025. Unfortunately, we have not been able to prepare a draft strategy and technical annexes as planned and have revised the timeline for further engagement and publication.

Detailed work on preparing the strategy, technical annex, final report, and delivery programme will be undertaken throughout May and June. We will then consult and engage with local Councillors, stakeholders, and the public in July and August.

The Green Spaces Strategy Group will consider the Strategy, Technical Annex, Final Report, and Delivery Programme for recommendation to the Council in early September and the Council will approve for adoption on 9th September.
