Junior Town Council Project

We have been working with artist Laurie Plant and the Daniel Bingham Foundation, to provide creative art sessions on topics that matter to our Junior Town Councillors; one issue, the primary school children of Cirencester are concerned about is the extensive use of plastic. They wanted to find a way of raising awareness about reducing usage and re-using and up-cycling as much as possible.

The children collected used plastic and inspired by Laurie have created some awesome art sculptures which are currently on display in the Daniel Bingham Foundation Gallery at Bingham House in Dyer Street.

We would love to see you visit the Gallery this summer. Walk through the double doors at Bingham House and discover a world of art and photographs of what Cirencester used to look like.

There are activity sheets for children and an opportunity to browse through a collection of photographs of yesteryear.

This is an amazing space to pop-in to for free, whenever you are in Cirencester; open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturdays 10.30am to 3.30pm.
