The sluice gates which are managed and operated by the Town Council form an important part of managing the flow of water through Cirencester, along with several private landowners.
Maintenance will be carried out in the Abbey Grounds to improve the water-tight seal between the wooden structures within the lake/river churn enhancing the Town Council’s ability to manage water flow within the Abbey Grounds.
