Community Planting Day Brings Colour to St Michael’s Park

Cirencester Town Council is pleased to share the success of a recent community planting initiative held at St Michael’s Park.

On Tuesday 2 June 2026, members of the Council’s Grounds Team and the Phoenix Gardeners welcomed pupils from Cirencester Primary School for a hands-on planting session. Working together, the group planted a variety of flowers across several of the park’s flower beds, helping to enhance the space for all visitors to enjoy.

The event provided an opportunity for young people to engage with the natural environment, learn about planting, and take pride in contributing to their local community. The collaborative effort reflects the Council’s ongoing commitment to supporting green spaces and encouraging community involvement.
