Calling Cirencester and Preston residents

Join a public meeting on Tuesday 1 September, 7.30pm - 9pm at Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, GL7 6JS to discuss proposed housing development at these strategic sites in Cotswold District Council’s Local Plan.

The meetings are for residents to attend, learn more about the plan and ask questions before making formal comments during the six-week consultation running from 24 August to 5 October 2026.

Residents are invited to have their say during the consultation before the plan is submitted for independent examination. The consultation will include public exhibitions and community meetings enabling residents to ask questions before making formal comments.

Our proposed Local Plan puts infrastructure at the heart of growth, delivering affordable homes, protecting the Cotswolds National Landscape,Preston and Cirencester South.
