The annual Advent Festival takes place on the new Market Place and brings Christmas celebration to the town including live entertainment and music for all the family.

The Farmers Market will take place from 8.30 am - 12.00pm. Cirencester Sparkles Advent Market starts at 2pm.

Local musicians and performers will take centre stage from early afternoon and the festival culminates around 7pm with the annual celebrity Christmas Light Switch On! This year the celebrity will be local resident, comedian, actor and director, Ben Miller.  Ben is well known for his role in comedy sketch show Armstrong and Miller and as the detective Richard Poole in the crime series Death in Paradise.

A wide selection of market stalls as well as mouth watering food stands will all add to the festive atmosphere in the town in the run-up to Christmas.
