A German Requiem - Brahms, performed by The Cheltenham Bach Choir

  • Cirencester Parish Church Market Place Cirencester, GL7 2NX UK (map)

One of the most heart-rending of Requiems -  written by Brahms following the death of his mother - this stunning choral work manages to convey both the sacred and the humane, with waves of grandeur, yet great intimacy. The evening of remembrance will also include Howell's 'Take him, earth, for cherishing' written in response to the death of President John F Kennedy.

Cheltenham Bach Choir under their musical director David Crown are joined by two notable international soloists and the Northern Lights Symphony Orchestra for what promises to be an inspiring evening in the wonderful setting of Cirencester Parish Church.

Tickets £18 (£8 concessions) available form Cirencester Tourist Information at the Corinium Museum 01285 654180
