Joint meeting with Cirencester Science and Technology Society

Chris Bigg is a Bristol Historian who has worked in the aviation industry for over 40 years. Chris will be tracing the development of Rolls Royce aero engine from the Hawk Piston engine to the Trent Jet.

The Bristol connection will be explored from the manufacture of Rolls Royce engines in WW1 to the takeover of Bristol Siddeley in the 1960's
