In this 2 day workshop you will look at the History of smocking, reasons and applications of smocking, smocking in fashion and you will have the opportunity to study Dorothy's collection of smocked garments and samples. During the workshop you will work through all the stages of smocking marking out, gathering and sewing. By the end of the 2 days you will work a series of samples to take away.
