The Annual Croome Memorial Lecture : Cirencester after the Romans - time for a rethink?

This year’s lecture will be given by Mark Horton.
The Vikings made winter camp at Cirencester in 879. Mark will examine new evidence for the makeup of the Army in 873-4 before its invasion of Wessex.
