The present Cirencester Salvation Army Band was reformed in 1963 and since that time has operated within Cirencester and the surrounding area. While its regular function is to provide musical accompaniment for worship at the Hall in Thomas Street, the Cirencester Corps serves a much wider area so that the Band often attends other functions in surrounding towns and villages especially at Christmas time. These activities are often in support of churches, chapels and local community groups as well as regular visits to care homes etc. Visitors are welcome to pop in to band practice which is normally held on a Friday evening.

Bands in the Park is a series of free band concerts to entertain you in our parks this summer. Bring along a picnic and chairs and just sit back and enjoy the music!
