The Big Lunch is back !
This will be our fourth Big Lunch! This event is really proving to be one of the highlights of the year for our community with lots of people gathering in the beautiful Abbey Grounds from 12noon to 6pm simply to be together, share food and enjoy a free day out.
We have free entertainment to enjoy: live music, an artisan market, activities including, among others, a petting farm, climbing wall and our ever-popular silent disco. We have been lucky with the weather in previous years and the Abbey Grounds has been buzzing with people of all ages, families and groups of pals soaking up the atmosphere.
This year we are honoured to have the wonderful Redkite solicitors as our headline sponsor.
Gemma Millard, Commercial Operations and Strategy Director at Redkite Solicitors, said:
“At Redkite, supporting our local communities is a core part of who we are as a business, not just something we do occasionally. It’s been a pleasure working more closely with the Community Services team at Cirencester Town Council, whose dedication to creating inclusive, community‑led events has made collaborating on this year’s Big Lunch especially rewarding.
The Big Lunch is a fantastic example of community spirit in action, bringing people together, helping people discover new opportunities, and strengthening local connections. We’re proud to be the Headline Sponsor this year and to work with Cirencester Town Council to help deliver an event that reflects the values of inclusion, participation and support that matter so much to us.”
Come and get involved this year on Sunday 28th June between 12pm and 6pm.
