Kenneth Povah Drawings
Kenneth Povah made these drawings in the 1970s as a light-hearted depiction of what life could have been like for the canons in the Augustinian Abbey of St Mary’s, Cirencester
Kenneth was a headmaster of a school in North London before he retired to Cirencester in 1968.
Kenneth Povah’s drawings were first created for an educational project and then preserved for a number of years in Cirencester’s Parish Church. In 2018 they were transferred into the care of the Bingham Library Trust.
