Amenity Land and Open Spaces Review

The Town Council has responsibility for a significant amount of amenity land around residential areas and open spaces, including sports facilities, allotments, scheduled ancient monuments, nature reserves and play areas. We are reviewing these assets and will act where land is currently being used or incorporated into residential curtilages without permission. The review will include signage, lighting, tree inspections and maintenance, future uses and improvements, as well as provision for memorials.
