Junior Town Council

We held our first ever Junior Town Council meeting last month, with around 30 children from local Primary Schools. The children will be learning about local democracy and will have the opportunity to discuss important issues, as well as meeting local politicians and representatives of the community. They’ll have a small budget with which to make a difference in the town and will appoint their own Junior Town Mayor and Junior Lead Members.
