Project Orpheus is an exciting community initiative celebrating the 200-year anniversary of the Orpheus Mosaic discovery in Cirencester, supported by Cirencester Town Council there is a vibrant array of art, music, and heritage events planned in the coming months. On Saturday 23rd August 2025, Orpheus Day will welcome creatives and communities from across the nation. The event will be the prelude to our very own Phoenix Festival which features a host of events and activities for all the family to enjoy. The day will start with the Orpheus Puppet Parade followed by the chance to be part of The Big Orpheus Choir. Following that, you’ll be able to enjoy a weekend of live music at the Phoenix Festival!
