Feed the Ducks

A new feeding station has been installed in the Abbey Grounds! It is solar powered so it can be placed entirely off grid and provides education to the public about feeding the ducks. Through this project we want to reduce bread usage and littering and improve the water quality.

The QR code on the feeder will take you to a webpage sharing fun facts about how you can engage with wildlife in a sustainable way.

The bird feed is dispensed to hand, so there is no packaging involved; each feeder is made from 100% recycled plastic, the equivalent of 20,000 plastic bottles.
