Cirencester College – Politics Students

We were delighted to welcome politics students from Cirencester College to the Town Council in March where we were able to share what we do, our context in wider local government and to discuss the future in respect of Local Government Reorganisation and devolution. Councillors from our Leadership Group were then able to share about being a politician and officers from our Senior Leadership Team were able to share about their careers in Local Government.

The students then participated in workshops which focused on shaping projects which engaged young people in politics, met a social need, strengthened the local economy and delivered an environmental project.
