Love Your Local Market Returns to Cirencester

Cirencester Markets and Cotswold Markets Ltd will launch this year’s Love Your Local Market campaign in style with the popular two‑day Food and Lifestyle Festival on Saturday the 16th May and Sunday 17th May, a foodie extravaganza on the Market Place and surrounding area.

Cotswold Markets spokesperson said “Once again Cotswold Markets are pleased to be working in association with Cirencester Town Council to bring the Food and Lifestyle Festival back to Cirencester. If you’re looking for a great day out, love local produce or you are a keen shopper, come along to this fantastic event. With over 40 stalls of local food and drink, as well as a large food court with many different flavours to tantalise those taste buds. Enjoy the local beers, ciders and wines whilst relaxing and listening to the many local musicians we have performing over the weekend with music from 11am until 6pm Saturday 16th May and 11.30am until 4pm Sunday 17th May.”

The 2026 National Association of British Market Authorities’ (NABMA) 'Love Your Local Market' campaign runs between 15th May to 30th May. This year’s campaign is built around the message ‘Make it a Market Day for YOUR MARKET – Proudly Local.’ Something that resonates with Cirencester Markets as we prioritise local traders at our thriving local community-based markets. We’re excited to celebrate our markets and always encourage people to shop locally.

In addition to the Food & Lifestyle Festival, Cirencester’s markets will be proudly showcased throughout the LYLM campaign by our range of markets, including the historic Monday &

Friday Charter Markets, the Arts & Crafts Market, Farmers’ Market, Twilight Markets and a general market, all taking place before the 1st June!

As we embark on another exhilarating chapter of Love Your Local Market, we invite you to discover the magic of Cirencester Markets and join us in celebrating the beating heart of our community. Together, let's make #LYLM2026 an unforgettable celebration of local markets!
