Bijou Opera: Romeo and Juliet

ROMEO & JULIET by Gounod. A truly legendary and entirely traditional production from the ROH in 1994 with Roberto Alagna (Romeo) and Leontina Vaduva (Juliet) bringing perfection to these two lead roles. Conducted by Sir Charles Mackerras. .

Bijou Opera is an opera film club that meets periodically to screen great opera performances (plus the occasional ballet and operetta). Membership is open to everyone. Subscriptions for 2019 are £12.00 for an individual and £18.00 for a couple (from 1 August, £6.00 single, £9.00 couple).
