Talk - Historic Towns Trust, Mapping our Heritage

A talk by Giles Darkes, who will provide a general introduction to historical mapping before describing the work of the Historic Towns Trust (HTT) and how its maps are created. Examples of city and town maps local to Cirencester, and the Cotswolds region will be explored, for example Bristol, Bath and Oxford. Giles is the Cartographic Editor for HTT and a member of the British Cartographic Society.
