Norman Arch and Cottage

The Norman Arch and cottage is an important historic and public asset, under the stewardship of the Town Council.

In recognising the substantial expenditure needed to refurbish and maintain the building the Council agreed at the meeting on the 10th November to funding of up to £25k towards project management, consultancy support and initial refurbishment costs, authorising officers to make preparations for going out to tender. There was a brief discussion at the meeting on the future use and stewardship of the property and it was noted that this would form an important part of the current Abbey Grounds vision and management plan work.
