Grant Funding Opportunities - Closing Date Soon!
Cirencester Town Council is delighted to announce grant funding to support the local community and is able to provide grants to individuals, businesses and organisations. Applications for grant funding will be considered where the funding is used for the environmental, social or economic well-being of the town and local community; applicants therefore need to demonstrate how the grant will directly benefit, and/or be spent in, Cirencester.
Applicants can also apply for a multi-year grant for projects which will deliver benefit over a period of up to 4 years. If you were awarded a multi-year grant from the Council in 2023-24 or are still on a multi-year agreement, we will contact you under separate cover about your grant for 2024-25. Over £14,000 of multi-year grant funding has been pre-approved for 2024-25, leaving £7,000 for new applications.
In addition to our main grant fund, £3,600 is available for ward-based community projects. This is made up of £100 to each Ward Member to support events and projects in their respective ward and £250 per ward for individuals and community groups to apply for. This separate funding is administrated on behalf of the Council by the Community Services Committee.
