Abbey Grounds Play Space

Our play spaces are varied and in much need of maintenance and improvement; our Junior Town Council has also identified a need for our play spaces to be accessible to all.

The Town Council recognises this and the Land and Property Committee has set up a Play Spaces Advisory Group which includes local parents.

One of the first recommendations is to replace the roundabout in the Abbey Grounds, which hasn’t functioned properly for a number of years; the Land and Property Committee has approved its immediate replacement. An order for a new piece of equipment has been made and we expect delivery and installation to take place in the early Autumn.
