We have free entertainment to enjoy: live music, an artisan market, activities including, among others, a petting farm, climbing wall and our ever popular silent disco. We have been lucky with the weather in previous years and the Abbey Grounds has been buzzing with people of all ages, families and groups of pals soaking up the atmosphere.
This year we are working around the theme of “Get Involved.” This is a deliberately loose title to encourage groups, charities, sports teams, community organisations etc to have a presence at the event to showcase what is on offer in Cirencester.
We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to join us on the day – how can we encourage more people to get involved with supporting and improving our community; for example joining a club/team, volunteering as a local brownies or guides leader, rambling, litter picking, learning more about our history, sharing experiences or helping others? “Getting Involved” can mean so many different things and we’d like to present as many opportunities as we can so there is something for everyone. On top of all that, it is a brilliant day out! Please email markets@cirencester.gov.uk
