During the workshop, Rhi will support you to develop and sketch ideas for your animal platter and to create a template for your chosen design. This will involve rolling a clay slab and cutting and shaping the piece. You will learn a variety of techniques to decorate your platter, including methods for drawing, adding details and texture, and painting your design, as well as adding colour with oxides and underglaze. Your finished piece will be glazed and stoneware fired following the class for you to collect.
