Cirencester Local Information Centre (LIC)

Visiting Cirencester and the surrounding area? Our award-winning Local Information Centre provides a complete destination experience to people travelling to and living in Cirencester. The LIC is also the public face of the Town Council and an important hub of local information.

From planning and researching a trip to Cirencester via our website and social media, to receiving information and ideas from our friendly team in person we make sure visitors and locals alike get the best possible experience of Cirencester and the surrounding area, and that local businesses see plenty of lovely people through their doors at the same time. The Local Information Centre has a wide range of information on places to visit, events, Town Council projects and services, community groups and volunteering.  The LIC also sells a range of locally made items including: souvenirs; books; walks and maps; greetings cards by Cirencester based artists; and locally produced gifts.

You are always welcome in the LIC - come and have a chat with the team who will be only too happy to help you have a great visit to Cirencester or just come grab a map and the monthly 'What's On'. If you have any special needs - access, dietary, family etc. - please do let them know... again they are well versed on all the options available to you.

Visitor Testimonial:
