Welcome to the LIC — your gateway to discovering the very best of Cirencester and the Cotswolds. Since opening our doors in 2012, we’ve been dedicated to offering a welcoming hub where visitors and locals alike can find everything they need to explore, enjoy, and connect with our beautiful town.
From expert local knowledge to inspiring ideas for days out, our mission has always been to guide visitors through the rich heritage, landscapes, and hidden gems that make the Cotswolds so special.

Your indispensable guide to Cirencester! The guide includes a familiarization walk taking you to all of the town’s places of interest and a useful map so you don’t get lost. The history of the town, local business and events are also included. Call into to pick up a free copy.

We are centrally located in Cirencester on the ground floor of Bingham House.
Access Statement
Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm, Saturdays from 10am to 4pm (Seasonal).

Good to Know……
We welcome dogs into the LIC as long as they are well behaved and on a lead. We also have a 'dog friendly' guide to Cirencester. Drinking water can also be provided.
