In accordance with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 Sections 26 and 27, the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234) and coronavirus related amendments (SI2020/404 refers), Cirencester Town Council has published the notice of conclusion of audit for 2019-20 along with the annual governance and accounting statements and the External Audit Report and Certificate.

The external auditor has asked for several figures to be amended, as outlined within the external audit report. These amendments reflect accounting methods for a grant and bank credit card reconciliation and do not affect the overall financial position of the Council. The recommended amendments will be considered and further information provided at the Council meeting in January.
