New life-saving equipment to be installed by Cirencester Town Council
New life saving equipment is being installed in Cirencester Town Council’s green spaces, and the current Market Place provision will be improved as part of the Town Council’s dedication to enhancing emergency preparedness and ensuring the well-being of its residents and visitors.
Council Budget and Council Tax Information
At the recent meeting of the Town Council tough decisions had to be made on the budget estimates for 2024-25, with both the internal and external auditor advising that we had to address our low reserves.

Cotswold District Local Plan Update and Cirencester Town Centre Masterplan Consultation
CDC is updating its adopted Local Plan to make it “Green to the Core”. The adopted Local Plan covers a period from 2011 to 2031. During this period the Council also is consulting upon a draft Framework Masterplan Supplementary Planning Document for Cirencester Central Area (a town centre masterplan)

The Obelisk Community Rooms
The Town Council has recently entered into a new agreement with the 1st Cirencester Scout Group with a commitment from the Council to improve the facilities at the scout hut; making them more widely available to the local community.
Town Centre Regeneration Scheme
The County Council has recently issued the practical completion certificate for the town centre improvements. All remedial repairs are now complete.
